So these guys are part of a new project I'm working on for my portfolio. I graduate in 6 weeks yesterday (YIKES!!) and am steadily producing more work. However, with my lean towards design, I'm doing less traditional illustration (although I'll never give it up, just has to take a sabbatical right now) and more digital work. These will be a series of posters for a fictional dance company. The focus is on movement and the body, as all dance is. The clothes are knocked back and the musculature has been enhanced and decorated to emphasis their forms. I'll be adding color soon, as well as the company logo and information for the final designs. I'll post those at the end of the month.
Also, if you're in the Vancouver area and want to come out and meet me or see my work up close, my grad show will be on at Harbour Centre at 555 Hastings Street from April 18-21.
