Experimentation with pen and watercolor doodling illustration in the style of Linn Olofsdotter. One of my favorite projects and a style that I've honed and changed into my own style.
My illustration on the subject of the Children of War, specifically in Iraq. It portrays the dilemma a soldier must (and should) face when he comes upon a child at the scene of a crime. Was he involved? Is that gun his? Even if it is, is it his fault? He's just a child trying to make someone proud of him and do what he's told. And he's more scared of you than you can imagine...what would you do with this child who just killed your friends?
This is going to be a blog solely devoted to showcasing my artwork so that viewers of my work in shows can go online to see more pieces. All pieces on this site are for sale unless posted otherwise. I hope you enjoy my work and I'll post it as I create it! Feel free to comment...
I'm a chronic art student. I have graduated from the Display&Design program at Langara College (2 years), and am currently in the IDEA:Illustration & Design program at Capilano University(3 years). I love all art forms, but personally stick to 2D paintings and illustrations, as well as digital artwork and design. This blog is to showcase my current art and illustration for my various exhibitions and shows. Follow along with me as I try out new styles and hone my skills :)
